2nd Annual Ribbon Ceremony

In memory of Aaron Husmann, who passed last April 10 by suicide.  Ribbons will be provided to tie as visual reminders that mental health matters and that Aaron is not forgotten.

Equally important as the ribbons, we will be passing out silicone bracelets with text/call 988 and 4aaron.com for those in attendance. We hope it will act as a reminder as we enter Mental Health Awareness month in May and as Aaron's senior class wind down their high school experience and begin thinking of college or whatever if ahead for them.  We know how stressful that time and transition can be.

Would you like to help us support mental health awareness programs, initiatives, organizations, and those that have been impacted by the devastating loss of someone from suicide? At the ribbon ceremony for our son, Aaron, I was shocked by the number of students who attended and shared their struggle with depression. It was because of our loss that I then became aware of how isolating it can be for students, for families and friends, and for those who have loss but didn’t know where to get grief counseling. Join us, won’t you, and help make an impact locally. Proceeds will go to support the Aaron Husmann Memorial Scholarship Fund, mental health awareness, and support for those who have lost someone to suicide.
